Georgia Eloise LeMaster, age 96, of Monroe, passed away peacefully at 4:07 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Wellspring Lutheran Services after a sudden illness.

Family and friends may visit Monday, April 9, 2018, from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Roy Southerland, Pastor of the church, will officiate. A private entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.

Born January 7, 1922 in Huntington, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Otis and Beaulah Opal (Ramey) Withrow. Eloise attended Huntington High School, graduating with the class of 1940. She married Peter P. Fink on August 22, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa and Norman E. LeMaster on June 9, 2004. Sadly, they preceded her in death on April 28, 2001 and July 3, 2013 respectively. Eloise was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church for more than fifteen years and was a very special member of the Sisters in Spirit group. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and in her younger years, bowling and golfing. Eloise loved talking with others and cherished her time spent sharing memories, pictures and stories with anyone who would listen. She will be remembered as a close friend to many and for her loving and cheerful disposition.

To cherish her memory, Eloise leaves one daughter, Linda S. Potter of Toledo; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Potter and Sharon (Raymond) Anderson both of Toledo; and five great-grandchildren: Chrystal, Brianna, Ray IV, Katie and Judy.

In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert D. Withrow.

Memorial contributions in Eloise’s memory are suggested to Monroe Missionary Baptist Church.
