Frank L SabinaFrank L. Sabina
October 13, 1945 - September 13, 2017

Frank was born on October 13, 1945, in Germany, the son of Jan and Felicja (Jankiewicz) Sabina.

Frank was a business owner who founded Professional Computers, Inc., a Troy-based computer company, during the dawn of the computer age in the late 1980’s. He had a passion for being on the water, specifically, sailing with his late brother, John. He was a connoisseur of red wine, and loved to play golf. May he rest in peace.

Surviving are his devoted life companion, Lynn Hoopfer; loving daughters, Jennifer and Lisa Sabina; siblings, Henry (Rosemary) and Alice Sabina; his grandson, Nolan Bankovich; nieces and nephews, Thomas Sabina, Robert Sabina, Shelly Ganassin and Steven Sabina; and his former wife, Patricia Sabina. Sadly, in addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a brother, John (Sharon) Sabina.

Frank will be interred at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, in a private ceremony.

In lieu of customary remembrances, those who wish to further honor Frank’s memory are invited to consider contributions to either the Purple Heart Foundation,, (with clothing, car and cash donations, the Purple Heart supports all veterans and their families with a myriad of nation-wide programs), or the American Cancer Society, (to fund and conduct research, share expert information, support patients, and spread the word about cancer prevention).

Kindly keep Frank and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
