Edward S. Vance, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 03 surrounded by his family.

Former President and owner of Beck Diamond Products Inc., Edward worked for nearly fifty years in the tool and die industry. Born in Detroit and raised in Dearborn, Edward lived his entire life in the metro Detroit area. He spent his life devoted to family, and enjoyed traveling with his wife and friends, spending summer holidays at his family cottage, playing golf. He remained a lifelong fan of the Tigers and Lions and the greatest joy in life was being near family who all loved his sense of humor and generosity.

Edward, aged 91 of Northville, MI survived by his loving wife of 65 yrs, Sylvia, children Deborah McIntyre (the late Thomas), Ronald, Diane South (Harry) and Brian. Proud grandfather of Matthew (Samantha) South, Timothy (Emily) South, Joseph McIntyre, Marie McIntyre, Daniel (Brianna) South, Karli Vance and Bridget Vance. Adoring great grandfather of Joanna South.

Brother of the late Lottie Hecimovich (the late Michael), brother-in-law of Louise Meyfarth (the late Philip) and Nieces and nephews Linda, Nancy (Don) and Michael.

He will be resting at the L.J. Griffin Funeral Home Northrop-Sassaman Chapel, 19091 Northville Rd ( at 7 Mile Rd) from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.

He will be instate at 9:30 a.m. at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd. (N. of 6 Mile Rd.) until time of his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
